The Basic Practicum is the next step after Basic Intensive Training, providing supervised, hands-on experience in applying Choice Theory and Reality Therapy principles. Applied Learning: Practice guiding clients, students, or colleagues using Choice Theory/Reality Therapy strategies under the guidance of a certified supervisor. Skill Development: Refine communication, problem-solving, and counseling/mentoring techniques learned in the Basic Intensive Training. Reflective Practice & Self-Evaluation: Receive and give feedback and engage in structured self-evaluation to deepen insight into your skills, decision-making, and understanding of total behavior and human needs. Supportive Environment: Conducted in a psychologically safe, inclusive space that values neurodiversity and encourages personal and professional growth. Foundation for Advanced Training: Completes the practical component required before moving on to Advanced Intensive Training. The Basic Practicum bridges theory and practice, empowering you to confidently apply Choice Theory and Reality Therapy in real-world situations while fostering self-awareness and professional development.
